A classic bean bag toss game where you aim and throw colorful bean bags onto a fabric target to score points. It can be played solo or with friends and helps develop accuracy, coordination, and spatial awareness while having fun. The set is designed to be safe, durable, and easy to take anywhere for play indoors or outdoors.
Items included:
- Fabric target (45 × 45 cm).
- 10 bean bags (blue and yellow).
- Fabric storage bag with drawstrings.
HOW TO PLAY
- Decide the number of rounds. We suggest 5-10 rounds.
- Open the game cloth board on the ground, flat and straightened, ideally on a non-slippery surface.
- Step back around 6 steps. The throwing distance depends on both age and skill level. Starting about six steps away from the board is generally a good starting point and the distance can increase as the skill is developed.
- Each player takes 5 bags of the same color. Toss the bean bags, trying to land them on the cloth and count your score.
- In the end of each round the bags are removed from the cloth, so to start the new round.
- It can be played individually or in teams, with the teammates adding their score in the end of each round.
- In the end of the game, the player/team with the higher score wins!
There are many ways that you can count the score, depending on the age and desired difficulty:
- Count 1 point for each bean bag that lands on the cloth.
- Count the points of the squares that your bean bags landed on.
- Count the points of the squares that your bean bags landed on, multiplied by the number mentioned on the respective bean bags. For example, if you have one bag “x2” on a “1” square and one bag “x3” on a “10” square, your total score is (2x1)+(3x10)=32 points!
- To make it more challenging, for every bag that lands outside of the cloth, you can subtract 1 point, or as many points as the bag has written on it.
TIC TAC TOE
You can also play the game of tic-tac-toe, using the bags on the squares of the cloth. Here, you can also add some more challenging rules:
- For each game, the winner keeps a score of the numbers on the squares where the 3-in-a-row is. In the end of the game (for the agreed rounds) the player with the higher score wins.
- To make it more challenging, you can count the score by multiplying the squares of the 3-in-a-row with the numbers written on the respective bags.
- And for a higher difficulty, you can toss the bags from a distance (4-6 steps).
